Residence permit regulations & office opening times
Currently, the immigration office requires 12 weeks processing time after submitting your documents in order to make a fingerprinting appointment.
If your current residence permit/or entry visa expires within 2-3 weeks, we are not able to process you using our visa service. Then we will need to ask you to book an appointment on your own using the following link:

The immigration office is putting out extra appointments out on Wednesday mornings for an appointment on the following day. You have to be fast and persistent.
In order that your residence and stipulations on your visa/residence permit remain valid you must submit your documents or book an appointment before the expiration date.
TRAVELLING ABROAD is only possible if your visa/residence permit is still valid by the time you reenter Germany! If you have plans to travel you should ask for a temporarily visa for three months providing flight or train tickets at the time of fingerprinting. With a temporarily visa “Fiktionsbescheinigung” you are able to travel.
OFFICE HOURS: Personal appearance at office hours has been cancelled until further notice. We are only available by email and telephone.
Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any further questions.
